This morning my Grandfather and I went out to find out about a waterfall that trickles down into a spa. I knew what I was talking about and wanted to take him to a spa place to show him what I meant and to have him talk to the guy to find out about how much, when, and where it can be done. We currently have a meeting set up for Tuesday.
After we went to the spa place we headed down to Laguna. While in Laguna I washed several loads of laundry as well as washed my bed sheets so that my Dad can sleep in newly washed sheets when he's down here. I also took down the Christmas Icicle lights and stored them on two electrical cord wheels so that we can easily unwrap them for next Christmas. I know it's a little late, but it's better late then never!
After that I went inside and watched a bit of TV while I waited for the load of laundry to finish. The buzzer went off; I went down and threw in another load. After that it was time to eat something so I made a Cup-of-Noodles and then watched some MTV while I ate. Toby Maguire was signing autographs in Times Square while another guy was creating original Spider-Man pictures to raise money for Cancer research because his boy has cancer. I thought it was pretty cool.
Once done eating I went outside and attempted to reattach some tiles to our outside patio bar. I think I used the correct stuff and I did the best that I could. My dad tried attaching it once before with something, but it did not hold. I only hope that the mortar sets and holds them. If not when I come back down here I'll have learned from the pool guys in Tahoe what I should do.
After the tiles were finished my Grandfather and I made a can of tuna chatted and ate. It was really fun, I enjoyed just sitting down with him talking and relaxing. I know I've had my problems with him, but we'll both miss each other when I've gone home.
