Now it’s time to say goodbye…

Well…my summer’s come to and end and I know the ending date. This Monday, August 19th I will be returning home to Southern California. My brother and I will be making the trip early in the morning, so if any of you in Tahoe want to say goodbye or see me before I go, better get to calling and make some plans, because time flys fast.

I hope that everyone has had a fun summer, something that they will remember when they go back to school, work, or whatever it is they are doing. You can all keep in touch with me online with IM’s or my web page. I’ll see you all later…until next summer!

Sick as a dog!

Well, I’m just chilling at home today surfing the internet and thought, hey…I should post to my neglected blog! So, here I am sick with a cold wanting to say hello to everyone out there in the digital world!

Don’t have much to say except that I’ve been trying to have as much fun as I can have before my summer comes to an end…which will be soon. Anywho, I think it’s time to work on some webpages, so…I’ll see you all later!

I’m doing fine…

Well, I went in today to have my wisdom teeth checked out and everything looks swell. The Doctor was happy and made sure I was doing everything as instructed. He also informed me that I can eat anything I feel comfortable eating and that I need to now use the rinsing kit he gave me after each and every meal to keep my sockets clean to help with a clean healthy healing. I’m due for another check in a week to see how my progress is going.

3 days after my teeth were yanked…

Well, it’s been three days since I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Today was supposed to be the worst day, and I guess in a way…it has.

Pretty much all day today I’ve been uncomfortable, not in pain, but uncomfortable with my mouth. I think it also has something to do with the fact that I feel that I can’t leave my house. I was hoping that I would be going out somewhere tonight, but alas, it seems that I will be staying home ONCE again. I guess all there is to do around here is play a bit of EQ, make myself some soup, and call it a night. Oh vey, I want some freedom again…

P.S. Thanks for correcting me Kera about the Optometrist and the Orthodontist. Optometrist deal with eyes and Orthodontists deal with teeth. :-P

Who needs wisdom teeth anyways?

Well, I I went to the Optometrist today at 7:45 AM to have my teeth pulled. I filled out a few papers of information basically stating that if they screw up and I die, it’s not their fault. Well, I signed them all and went in to lie on the table where I was hooked up to a blood pressure gage and to a heart monitor, and oxygen saturation machine. The last things I remember was looking at the ceiling, felt the needle go in my arm, mask placed on my nose, a bad smell and then….weeee!!!

Cleaning my room

Well, tomorrow I’ll be going in to have my wisdom teeth pulled, so I thought that I best spend my day getting my room organized and clean so that when I come home I don’t have to think about anything but sleep. I’ve currently gotten the majority of crap off my floor and am now working on organizing the stuff that I have picked up. I think after I am done with that I’ll take it easy and watch some movies or do something fun with my friends.

A day of fire and snow

Well, as any of you know that live here in Tahoe, know that it snowed today. It’s pretty weird that it has not yet failed that every time I return home it either rains or snows. Since it snowed we were not able to pick up the pine needle piles in the campground so I just hung out and cleaned my room. I was not dedicated in cleaning it, but I at least got 3 crates out of the way and I only have 3 more to go before I can then actually organize and clean my room.

Mike went home since there was no work that could be done. Not very long afterwards I thought that I should try not to be a jerk and call some of my friends and let them know I was back. I called Eric N. and he came over for a while and hung out playing golden eye and helping me with our huge yearly bonfire.

Each year we have a bunch of slash from the trees that have fallen down in the campground, we then take this slash and burn it down until all that is left is ash. Each year I enjoy watching the pile burn, but it’s a lot more stress then people think. You always have to stay on top of it and make sure that it does not get out of control. My Dad told me that this is one of the jobs that he does not look forward to…I can’t blame him because it takes ALL DAY.

After Eric went home, Mike came back out to pick me up and we went to Andi’s house and spent some time socialising with her and Jamie C. and after that at around 11:00PM we went over to Luke’s house to say hello, but everyone was gone or asleep. We were bummed but then came home and went to sleep to be able to wake up to work on the campground again tomorrow.

Nighty night!

First day home!

Well, today was my first day home! I woke up and messed around until 1:00PM when I went out to work on the campground for a few hours. Mike was the first person to greet me of my friends group, since he managed to call 20 minutes after I was home. He spent the night last night and helped me with the campground today. After we finished working on the campground, I was invited to a party!

Lets try this again…

Well, I didn’t make it out yesterday…there was just too much traffic for me to stress about so I visited my friends in Norco. I must say that was probably one of the smartest moves that I made because I found out a lot of information that will help me in making my decision about what I want to do next year and what I want to major in. I thank Courtney’s Dad Daryl T. and his friend, which I’ve forgotten his name, for helping me think about my choice in a major.

Any who, I better get going so that I can make the best time in getting home! Homeward Bound 2!
