Well today was the last day that my school was performing Christmas in the Footlights. We had a 2:00 PM and a 7:00 PM show and both were very lively and fun, I think my only complaint would be some singing lessons. :p
Today was both cool and a bummer because on one side I am now completely done with school and have no more obligations, however on the flip side I’m sad that I won’t be seeing the Theater Arts group as I’ve grown to call them. I handed out my phone numbers to a few of them, and ended off the night with some cool talks about my web master skills.
I’ve only got two weeks left before I head back up to Tahoe to get some business taken care of and hopefully to have some fun, but before I go I hope to be able to hang out with a few people and just have a jolly good time.
To any of you that I was working with, I just want to let you all know that I’ve had so much more fun working with everyone these past few weeks then I’ve had in my 2 year adventure down here. Thanks for inviting me into your group of friends and I look forward to seeing all of you next semester.

Well today I had my last final and breathed a sigh of relief when it was over. Currently all that I have left before my vacation starts is the play that I’m now involved in called “Christmas in the Footlights.”
Once again I’m the sound operator and still having fun, my only complaint is that I’m starting to get burnt out since I’ve spent the last two weeks worrying about my finals and the things I needed to complete by then. With school being out and only the plays being my obligation I’m sure that things will get much better. I’m so totally glad that I’ve become part of this group, the entire Theater Department has been really cool. I’m looking forward to helping out when I come back for the 2003 Spring semester.
I’m a little tired from the stress so I think I’ll leave you with these fun lyrics. I can’t go much past the first two lines of lyrics since it’s not summer time just yet, but it still works. :p

No more teachers dirty looks.” - Alice Cooper

Well, today was the last day of Fortinbras. After the show everyone stuck around and did a set strike. For those of you that don’t know what a strike is it’s when you take apart the set. Any who, afterwords we ate pizza, thanks Alex, and some awards were given, I received the “Spaz” award. I guess Lu and Bri thought I was a little crazy, and honestly, they are not wrong.
They did have fun in the boot though since they volunteered me to help with the Christmas play.
As we were working on setting up for the Christmas show another meeting was called and I received a card from the cast of Fortinbras thanking me for my time in helping them out. If you want to view it I have uploaded it to my photo album for your viewing pleasure here.
I look forward to starting the Christmas show starting tomorrow after my Spanish final. We’ve got tech / rehearsal days Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with the show Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Once this show is done that’s it for school for this semester at Orange Coast College.
I must say that I’ve had so much fun this year in school that I look forward to coming back next semester to do it all over again.

Well today was a huge pain in my ass, on over exhaustion of energy and worry. Actually…when reflecting back on it, this whole week has been. I’ve been getting 8 hours of sleep but every day I still feel tired and drag through the day. The only thing that I can think of is that I’ve been exhausting myself mentally, oh how I love it when school is coming to and end and you have to start worrying about classes… /sigh
Today was definitely a big day since today my Spanish Oral was due. This semester in Spanish has been a personal hell. Honestly I was going to drop it, but happened to miss out on the registration hours and became instantly screwed into finishing it. If I can manage to pull off a C in the class all will be for the better in the end, but if I don’t get that C and have to take it again…I think I’m going to go crazy and hurt people.
If you don’t speak spanish, don’t worry. If you do and I said something wrong and you actually want to correct me, visit here.
Well…It’s now time to take some aspirin and call it a night. Hopefully now that the orals over with I can get some decent sleep.
1 day down, 6 to go.

As some of you may know, I’m currently part of Orange Coast College’s school play called Fortinbras as the sound board operator. Well during that show my light board operator and I were getting along quite well and she invited me to go up on Tuesday to meet some of her friends. Since my life’s been pretty boring I happily agreed, why miss an opportunity to make friends.
Time passes and Tuesday arrives. Lu and I meet up at our stage craft class, and help out for about an hour before we decide to head on up to Los Alamedos to see her friends. When we arrive we walk through a park and see two people sword fighting. Once we get closer Lu started to introduce me to people, most of which names I forgot, save a few. I met Lu’s husband Omar and then moved on to the bigger event that I did not know about.
When we walked past the tennis courts I found that there was not just a few people sword fighting, but around 20 people! Apparently after asking what they were all doing here Lu informed me that most of them participated in Renaissance Festivals and would duel with swords for show. Not terribly long after I was introduced to Spider (Sean) everyone got together to line duel. Basically what line dueling is is 2 equal teams, line up about 100 paces apart and when someone calls go, they move toward one another and engage in battle.
After a few hours of watching the duels, Lu and I decided that it was getting late and a bit cold and moved on to the second hang out location where a bunch of other people were.

What kind of shit is this? I have a horrible morning, followed by a shitty afternoon, I go to school and amazingly enough it’s not too bad. I finally hit JavaScript class and manage to get a problem that no one else could get done, so now I’m feeling good…..it does not last for long.
I walk out to my car and what do my eyes see! A ticket! I’ve gotten a damn violation because some jerk off jack ass security officer decides that my parking permit was not visible enough and nails me with a fine. What horse shit! I can’t believe how assining the campus is to do something as stupid as that. Give me a warning ticket that makes me waste my time to come in and say sorry I won’t do it again this way I know not to tilt my parking pass, but to give me a ticket….Orange Coast College Public Safety can kiss my ass!

I feel like my head’s going to explode. I spent three hours today working on code for my JavaScript homework, went to Spanish, came to JavaScript class and had to take a test involving programming in your head without any help from a computer.
KABLOOEY!@#
I’m now in JavaScript class waiting to listen to the lecture, however after I’m done posting this to save what little goo that still resides in my head, I might skip out and go home early, but that’s only if I know the stuff that’s going to be talked about.
Hope everyone is doing well; I’m outta here.
