One tequila, two tequila, three tequila…floor!

Well last night I made my first trip to a nightclub that is up in Hollywood called perversion. Some of the new friends that I’ve been hanging out with had told me that it was a pretty cool club and that I should go and try it out.

Well finally yesterday I decided to go and try it since one of my best friends were in town and what better way to try out a new club then to go with your friends! We went over to Lu’s house and picked up Omar, since Lu was sick and didn’t want to hinder our fun, and headed up to the club…

Once we got to the club it cost $10 to get in unless you brought a printed out a form from a mailing list, and then it went down to $5. I was a dumb ass and left mine in the car and ended up paying $10 instead of $5, but if I had gone back it would have been past 10:30 PM, and the deal ended then, so…there was no point.

Once through the doors we entered a place of loud industrial trance music. They also have two side rooms, one for 80’s type music, and the other for goth style music. We bought our drinks, a Smirnoff Ice for Mike, and a cranberry and vodka for me, from here we went to venture the side rooms. The 80’s room was cool, but not as fast beat as the main room, and the goth room was really slow. I don’t know if we walked into the goth area at the wrong time, but it really didn’t have a big appeal as the mail room with Mike and I.

After we went back to the main room we watched Omar get his grove on and dance like a bad ass. I’ve never danced, nor seen people dance like they did in the club, but it’s another set of dance moves that I can store in my brain for future reference. I knew that the first drink didn’t loosen me up enough so I took the advice that was given to me a while back by another best friend, Matt Williams, that I should drink a Liquid Cocaine shot.

Liquid Cocaine:
—1/2 shot Bacardi 151
—1/4 shot Jagermeister
—1/4 shot Goldschlaugher / Peppermint Schnapps ( I had Goldschlaugher)

It burns like hell going down, and makes you wish you were dead, and then kicks your ass to the next level, or…least it does for me since I don’t drink. About 30 minutes pass and I’m starting to feel a buzz, and start getting into the music. I’m not totally lose so I ask Mike if he’s ready for his next round of drinks. He agrees and buys this round since I got the first.

**Gulp** Round 2

My second shot of liquid cocaine sets in real nicely…I’m drunk.

Now that I’m feeling no pain, I start dancing like a madman on the dance floor. This is where my memory starts to fade out and I only remember dancing for a long time until I was interrupted by a mini mosh-pit. I guess Omar ran into Mike, and Mike bumped into me, and I bumped into some guy. The guy pushed back and everyone was pushing everyone, but after about a minute or two of moshing it broke up and went back to normal.

I eventually walked over to Omar and asked if any of the other non-mundane crowd had show up and he replied that Kumar was on stage. When I heard that he was there I went up on the stage, said hello, made an ass of myself, and danced the rest of the night away.

Finally 20 minutes before closing Mike got me and had me cool down. I now know that I’m toasted and not going to be able to drive home, so Omar, Mike and I head off to my car to go home. During the trip to take Omar home I got sick after drinking a lot of raspberry iced tea and swirvy driving that I lost it and got some on my clothes and seat while most of it went inside the cup I was drinking from. To make a long story short I took off my shirt, quickly cleaned up the mess, and covered myself for the drive back home to my house.

I was woken up by Mike asking me where the hell we were. Ok…think about this…I’m half asleep…drunk off my ass…and have not been paying attention, and someone asks me where I am……………Rrriiiight…

I manage to get a semi grasp of where we are by listening to what Mike said that he had done and pointed him in the right direction to get home. We ended up getting home about 4:00 AM, where I immediately threw my clothes into the washing machine and tool a quick shower to wash off any unpleasant scent as to not disturb Mike or myself during the night.

We woke up the next day at 10:00 AM, and both knew that we weren’t going back to sleep. Mike needed to leave before the afternoon hit, and I was wide awake for whatever reason. We talked about the night and laughed at what had happened and then went on our business before he had to leave.
